Apprenticeships for the following professions: Business person EFZ, designer EFZ, polymechanic EFZ, production mechanic EFZ, logistician EFZ, electronics engineer EFZ

Kauffrau / Kaufmann EFZ

As a Kauffrau / Kaufmann EFZ, you obtain an insight into several fascinating departments, where you get to know more about the diverse and complex operations and processes. In Product Purchasing you monitor and check the incoming goods. In the Marketing department you can let your imagination run free and help design the company documents. You gain an insight into the HR department and learn how the various processes work. If you like working with figures, then you are in the right place in the Accounts department. In the Internal Sales department you telephone customers, accept orders and compile quotations. These tasks and other interesting tasks are part of the commercial apprenticeship.

Duration: Three years

Logistiker/in EFZ

As a Logistiker/in EFZ in the logistics field, you accept goods, check them and prepare them for proper storage. Forklifts are used in order to arrange and forward the goods. Your duties include order picking for stores and customers (making the goods available for delivery). You pack and label the goods, compile the delivery documents, prepare them for delivery and help with the proper and safe loading and unloading of the vehicles in accordance with regulations.

Duration: Three years

Konstrukteur/in EFZ

As a Konstrukteur/in EFZ, you design and construct individual parts and modules for devices, machines, tools and production lines. You create design drawings and compile technical documentation. You draw first drafts by hand and create the 3D models on the computer from the design drawings you create. You perform the necessary calculations and adhere to geometric shapes, dimensions and tolerances on plans, as well as details about surface quality and materials. You play an active role in the development of new products and work in projects or subprojects, or manage them. You meet the expectations of the ever changing market and customers.

Duration: Four years

Polymechaniker/in EFZ

As a Polymechaniker/in EFZ, you are involved in the development and production of all types of high-tech workpieces on milling machines and lathes, as well as on computer-aided CNC machines. You define the process steps using construction plans and programme complex workpieces. You check the manufactured parts using high-precision measuring and testing instruments. You also assemble devices, systems and machines, put them into operation and take care of their maintenance.

Duration: Four years

Produktionsmechaniker/in EFZ

As a Produktionsmechaniker/in EFZ, you make individual parts and devices or manufacture series of small parts using production machines. Devices are used in machine construction to position workpieces, hold their position or clamp them. They are used in series production or for small series. You programme and optimise production machines and manufacture products with high precision. The assembly of individual parts into modules or the repair of individual elements is also part of your area of responsibility, as well as the maintenance of systems and searching for and eliminating errors.

Duration: Three years
